Organisation administrators

Getting started as an organisation administrator

Manage the organisation and the groups that sit beneath it, with clear responsibilities for each organiser.

  1. 01Request or confirm your organisation

Use Get started in the app for an organisation request, or use the website setup form for assisted onboarding. The Platform Owner reviews new organisation requests.

  2. 02Open your organisation in Admin

Check the organisation name, description and branding. Your controls depend on the role assigned to your account.

  3. 03Create the right groups

Use Add group within the organisation. Give each group a clear purpose and location; avoid recreating a group that is already listed.

  4. 04Arrange group administrators

Review requests and assign administrators using the controls available within your organisation. A group administrator manages their group, rather than every group in the organisation.

  5. 05Oversee activity

Review pending requests and event proposals. Check that hosts, venue courses, eligibility and booking methods match the intended event.

  6. 06Prepare continuity

Agree who maintains each group, and use the handover checklist when responsibilities change. Request Platform Owner help with access outside your scope.

A practical example

An organisation can contain several local groups. Travelling to another club does not make the visiting organiser an administrator of that course.
